THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

Rob Ayling, yer Gonzo Grande Fromage, writes: 
"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"
CAT(A)TONIC
WOKE UP KAFKA TODAY
Found i had fur and a tail
Four paws i did not have before
What is more,i started licking my fur
Yes!I had a new fur coat over my whole being
instead of skin,i was covered in fur!What cockroach dream was this?
I went to bed dreaming of feral cats-and then became one!
Best i do not dream of dogs,nor horses,rats ,or elephants
Animals may all soon be becoming threatened species
Can we dream dolphins back into existence
just by signing petitions in our dreams?
I have to go now-i have this hunger for cat food

and i am not even homeless
