WE TRUST POLITICIANS-TO LIE TO
US
Same with clergy and
businessmen
We lie to ourselves first-then the
world outside
There are even rituals based upon
promises-
marriages and property
settlements/alimony /maintenance..
New Year's Eve Resolutions and New Age
Affirmations
share the same short-term fate(to be
made then unmade simultaneously)

We remember promises made and broken.We
do it to ourselves-
promise to lose weight/promise to
exercise/then watch as our waistline denies us..
Promises are promissory notes on the
future.You can not cash them in
until the proper investment of time and
energy is applied.
"I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a
hamburger on Monday "Wimpy says to Popeye.
Our National Debt is a promise to pay
our children's children's children.
Who trusts that?
