Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth, Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" SEEKING SOLUTIONS
Near Fukushima,a Buddhist priest
moves radioactive dirt away from where people lived
as they had not yet een moved to safer regions.
Active prayer/actions required/where risk
makes
food chains sink /trusting in seaweed
and
iodine to absorb radiation.We are told less
see
wreckage land in Portland/hear stories
of
contaminated tuna and salmon.Warnings-
"eat
nothing from the ocean!"We hear and pray
we
might be spared from random radiation-
eat
greens,ginseng,anything that might give us reprieve
from
another Japanese invasion.
