"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" (The wondrous poetpic is by Jack McCabe, who I hope forgives me for scribbling all over it with Photoshop)
TIME'S HURRYING ANGELS,RELEASED!
THEY LEAVE THEIR ONLY HOLY SKIN WITH DIZZYING RAPIDITY
They are shocked out by age and stress, despair, depression
Is there a space for comics' heaven?Subdivision, strata title
where relaxed lounge shows repeat the same old jokes-
pain, suffering, grief and loss/always to the same response.
It seems a faster Supermoon destiny /Perseid Meteor shower leaving
some individual engineered to group survival/some collective ascension pattern
There is such a heaven down here-the love expressed via Facebook
loss in blog and Web,grief in poem ,song and sketch
So many leaving us!Is there a Matinee session in Heaven?
Punctual to a point-do they know something we do not?
Is that the point of self-initiation?We leave when we learn
why we are here-or before?
