A SLIGHT DELAY

Well dear friends,

I had hoped that this morning we would be issuing our centenary - the 100th  - issue of Gonzo Weekly.  But things never quite work out as they are planned.  For reasons that will become clear, in the fullness of time, one of the big stories cannot be put out until tomorrow, and so, for the first time in our history, we are a day late.

I am fully expecting a mob of fear-crazed villagers to be rampaging up the long and twisty path that leads to my castle brandishing flaming torches and pitchforks.

No, hang on, that was Frankenstein.

I am actually expecting everybody to shrug their shoulders, nod politely, and wait until the magazine comes out tomorrow.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
