It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Efforts to turn tides,steal
sunlight
Wind turbines slicing bird
migrations
"To make something new,we break the
past"
Water is more valuable than poetry.So
is air,and earth
Fire flickers snake flames burning down
Paradise.
Waters rise like fear.Refugees ask for
Sanctuary.
But sun scorches dropped bodies in
deserts
Water floods homes and traps unwary
cars.
Earth is fracked and mined,cut and
wounded.
Fire warms,but warns he will not be
inflamed.
Eye Bless Everything beyond my
span.
There is nothing and no-one like
me
full of such "passionate
intensities"
