Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?
MEDITATION = SPIRITUAL AWAKENING
small
In this Uni-Verse
in the Order of Things
In the way we move in this
world
we are small...We have tried
BIG!-
Big
Walls,Wars,Profits,Buildings,
We have projected BIG
EMPIRES
but they did not last.They fell down
like the Berlin Wall/
Small as Hadrian's Wall.Little as an
orphanage.
Now we need-to return to
Village.Bicycles.Pedestrians.Individuality.
World is old and tired/all sewn up with
refugees /hot with flaming wars.
Cool it.Chill.Each of us has wars
inside us-health,weakness,poverty.
Every one of us calls as birds do -to
the forest inside of us.
Answer the call...
