Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?

GIFT
that few have,and fewer cultivate.It
requires both love and focus/
to be constantly re-birthed in
selective attention.Often
we are so often distracted/no one can
see through the fog of morning
to make the Light of day.We make it
with each other
With the beauty and the sadness of
connection.
With depth and shallowness.With
brightness and darkness.
Like the moon in all her stages.Like
falling stars and rising waves.
We are in motion and unmoved
simultaneously.Until epiphany-
that each moment is singular and
unique/and admits only of comparison.
