ONE SOCK IS NEVER ENOUGH
Two socks is a pair(soon to be divorced
Three socks is a threesome(someone always misses out)
Four socks is two pair(beaten by three of a kind
Five socks is a pentagon of pleasures
Six socks a jazz sextet.Seven a Heaven of choices
Eight socks an octopus.Nine a drawer full of choices
Ten socks argue like a Catholic family.Someone's always out.
Eleven?Odd number again.To find that solo sock is an infuriating proposition..
Especially when it has no equivalent among its alleged mates.
Twelve socks a solid foundation.Stable as disciples.
But then again-one of them was Judas!
