The Progressive Underground Volume 1 - Latest review!

Ok, so in many ways it is not the most recent review as there have been quite a few more since this one was published, but we only came across it today. The book continues to gain traction and positive reviews from all over the world. If you enjoy progressive rock, or just good music in general, then this is something you just can't do without, but don't just take our word for it

...Kev obviously loves what he does, loves the genre and several offshoots and makes it very clear in his reviews what various bands/artists are about in a way that you can quickly discern if you would want to pursue the listening side of things or not. This, after all, is what a great music reviewer does, making music somehow "hearable," through what they write about it, even if you haven't yet given it a listen...

What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
