THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

HOW CAN WE CO-EXIST IN ONE SPACE?

Submarine sonar vs migrating whales

Explosions on the sea floor beaching dolphins

Think(or feel)Gaia as conscious and a party to this problem

Evolution of consciousness manifesting in chemical,biological,geophysical mutations

Earth has its own homeostasis,while we acknowledge climate change and denial of same.

Here,science fiction,fact and projections merge-against political,monetary ,powerful conservatisms.

Gaia is a sleeping partner to our controlling colonialisms.She lives,breathes,reacts and mutates/

different to us,but similar.Her forests absorb our carbon emissions/hence reafforestation over Amazon fires set ablaze by farmers

Choices need to factor in the true cost of fracking,mining,lumber ,oil and gas industries..and plastics.

Once we paid deposits on soda /beer bottles,and they were almost all recycled&refilled.

100% recycling is possible-in Germany all cars are 100% recycled.

The big change is in poetics-treating all parties as conscious,co-operative and collaborative

This includes all trees,water,elements ,space and territories.It includes Gaia@all times.

"Compositionism"means inclusion,so that no more species go extinct(including us)

Time to clean up!Oceans await.Earth needs Superfunding.Repair Kit Us.

Custodians/consultants  but not owners/controllers.Responsible Parties-but not Dictators.

We are no longer the "Crown of All Creation".We are "The People,Yes"(Carl Sandburg)

But so are the forests,all waters,elements,earthworms and plankton.Time to adjust the equation..

All is conscious.All has consciousness.In that,a certain rough equality ensues..
