"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"
I WAS SUFFERING FROM TOO MUCH HAPPINESS
THE CARDINALS OUTSIDE WERE THE SPIRITS OF MY ANCESTORS
I photographed them so i could learn wings.They taught me the secret of flight.
It is to move as if your life depended upon it(because it does...)
To consume means you will be consumed.To forget means you will not remember.
To lie means you cannot stand your own story.This is what the birds told me...
Trees,on the other hand are old Chinese philosophers.They are doctors and graphic artists.
They create toothpick sculptures and satirize Presidents.They are laughing company.
Now,if you cross this border as a tourist,you overstay your Visa.This is NOT true
for birds,bees,butterflies and jaguars.They travel by night and migrate across barriers.
Trees are patient warriors.They stand until bulldozer growls"Development" .They say
