"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" HUMAN BIRDS
TWEETING
"I will ride with you"the Tweet went
out
Social media compounded this compassionate
outreach
Hundreds offered to make sure that innocent
people
were not targeted by hate and rage. All
good,proper,helpful
Also an autonomous action that may have
protected others
Laws did not protect those cafe
innocents

unknown
It is amazing how singular postings may
save lives
Is this why governments shut down Internet
when demonstrations occur?
or why we are not shared black budgets, but
are monitored in private ?
Something good happened,ex post facto-but
still salutory,healing,effective
I guess the next Tweet,FB posting,blog
entry of compassionate outreach
is up to you!
In the aftermath of the
heart-wrenching scenes from the Martin Place siege, a heart-warming initiative
took the world by storm. The #Illridewithyou campaign took off when a stranger
offered to accompany a Muslim woman in public to...
