THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

AS IF BIRTH BLOOD NEW

All young and ancient @once

All creases and umbilical cord

As if this never happened before

As if peace finally displaced war

As if civilians were the true core culture

As if conundrums could drum therapy circles

As if paradoxes could kiss kites and fly stringless skies

As if  patient patients explain their lifestyles to doctors

As if doctors listened and nurses saved their reputations

As id love were the only universal healing

As if every cliches was real(we need new cliches..

As if embrace ,empathize,energize were Tsunami tides

As if we are already here(which is also THERE)

As if roleplay allowed us the freedom to...
