I would want art on me
(i do not speak about body art-tattoos nor graffiti..
more an Unframed Splash of
Paradise
that takes us from a
walled world of blacks and whites
into hues and tints of
Rubens pinks and Monet purples
a dose of Color Therapy
for a wounded world
( i remember how you
painted your Art Gallery Bare Buddhist White
but your home walls Hot
Flush Pinks-and how public and private
became as complementary as
heart and head
This world is already
colored in its earth way
Deep mahogany browns and
rainforest greens
We live both within this
frame and in our dreams
And all our dreams are
colored parrots
Growing wings.
