THOSE WE HAVE LOST: My lovely wife.

Now I can tell you all the truth. 

Corinna didn’t want it to be made public until it was all over, but it is now over.

After two years of medical examinations and tests, she was diagnosed with terminal cancer back in June. The way she dealt with it was incredibly brave, and she was as magnificent in her final weeks as she has been throughout our life together. 

She was admitted to North Devon Hospice on Tuesday morning, and she died at quarter past five on Sunday morning, (16th August) with me and my two darling stepdaughters holding her hand. My life will never be the same.

Please forgive me if things are not always running to schedule over the next few weeks...

This magazine continues to go off on strange tangents that I never expect, but I am very happy to see it do so. What is in this week? Ooooh lots of things. Such as Charlie Manson, Robert Heinlein and Quentin Tattantino, Quentin Tarantino, Covid Conspiracies, The Mangrove demo bust 50th anniversary, animal rescue with PAART, Reminiscences from Tony Klinger, Chas Sniding – The Strawberry Bricks Guide to Progressive Rock, Hawkwind news, The Story-Teller: Erin Morgenstern, and other stuff of interest.

And there are radio shows from Mack Maloney and Friday Night Progressive, AND Merrell Fankhauser, and the Real Music Club, and Canterbury sans Frontieres, but no sign of Strange Fruit this week, there is a column from Kev Rowland, and one from Tony Klinger, and C.J Stone, but Mr Biffo, and Neil Nixon, are on hiatus. There is also a collection of more news, reviews, views, interviews and dibblers who have got the blues (OK, nothing to do with tiny marsupials who are listening to the new Bob Dylan album, but I got carried away with things that rhymed with OOOOS) than you can shake a stick at. And the best part is IT's ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!
