Singing legend Barbara Dickson plans to get back into her comfort zone at Chequer Mead



From her roots on the Scottish folk scene in the late 60s, to pop star, actress and stalwart of the West End stage, she has reached every stop on the road to becoming a vocal superstar.

She has worked with the musical greats of the theatre, Willy Russell and Andrew Lloyd Webber to name just two, playing the original Mrs Johnstone in Russell's Blood Brothers and topping the charts with Webber's Another Suitcase In Another Hall before Madonna even had a look in, singing the same song in Evita.

She also had an international hit with I Know Him So Well, a duet with another West End megastar Elaine Page.
