Dagmar Krause entertains with her extraordinary vocal talents
A remarkable and distinctive vocalist, Dagmar Krause is recognised as a major interpreter of the German song tradition. With the release of her 80s albums Supply & Demand and Tank Battles she earned the acclaim of critics around the world. She is considered to be a leading exponent of the songs by Bertholt Brecht, Kurt Weill and Hanns Eisler.
A magnetic performer, possessing a ferocious intensity and passion, Krause is returning to this repertoire for the first time in several years. This is a one-off performance, by special invitation from the Royal Exchange Theatre Co to coincide with their production of C P Taylor's GOOD.
