BARDS,BEARDS,BRASS,BEER,BEEHIVE
Smoke clings to elders'
whiskers
even when long banned
Men mostly,around tables
Round robining their
writings
Featured luminaries add to this
mix
aware that persistence will
change-
gaslamps to electric,shadows to
candlelight.
Long bonded years with
friends
Each has other lives as
gardeners,activists,
community radio
veterans,musicians..yet this
friendship group continues to
support itself
So change the name to New
Beehive
Let Bradford be BARDFORD!
Let every living writer find
his/her way
to share this dream from which
we drink today!
