LIVING ON THE GRID
BILLS COME IN FASTER THAN
INCOME
The cost of everything inflates.The
temptation to live in the Green Belt arises.
Under a Bridge.In a tent.A Granny Flat
.With friends.Family.Of course-
no services.Like living on a long
boat.100% recycling.And still mess.detritus.
Still that essential flaw in design /we
make more trash than art.
Burning Man?Art Outside?Rave
Culture?Hippy Communes?
Elders need
warmth,shelter,nutrition,comfort(as do all children)
So only the Warrior Caste can avoid
living in Care Facilities or Gated Communities.
Some few break laws to eat in
prison.Some young leave home,then return..Some families are not.
Homeless Tent Cities.Buddhas on every
street corner.Hungry.Homeless.Dispossessed.
One paycheck away from poverty.So some
thin decide to get fat.
Start a cleaning business.A Health
Consulting Firm.Some shekel shelter.
Still-birds outside,who will eat out of
your bare hands..
