Over half of these (service,hospitality)were jobs done by women
Since September 2021,300,000 women have left the workforce.
Delta variant.Lack of child care.Required multi-tasking leads to burnout.
Day care centers and nursing homes jacked up prices,lowered enrollments,or closed down.
In particular,this affected Black and Hispanic women.November 2021 saw 91,000 black women leave work.
Word is,women experience micro-aggressions /harassment in the workplace.
In 2021,work weeks extended by 10%.One in three women contemplate downshifting careers,
updating their resumes,or leaving the workplace entirely.65% of millennial women prefer working remotely.
Hybrid work is the future-but only if child care and burnout issues are addressed.
Women in the work force has changed the very nature of nurturing-self and others.
POSITIONS VACANT signs will remain,until health,equality ,respect become employment essentials.
