Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

SURPRISED MORE BY THE FACT

that she had to chase down the loud black angry man

(She is black ,too-this is not a race issue..

I was astonished at this!The fact that she got in her car and shouted out to him..

I had assumed it was to berate him for his verbal violences..

No!It was to gift him with all she had-in a miracle of gladness and goodwill

She laughed as she told me this before she drove away

I do not know why i was a witness-but i know this..

We will all meet up in the morning at the food pickup

Her,him,me,Gwen and maybe Dreamer-Jason has been missing

Something in the laughter of the oppressed.Something vital

in their kindness to each other.Something living,loving,gentle..

When even the volunteers are jaded ,the living line up

for the physical food-and the goodwill and gladness of their company..
