Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

GIVING THANKS FOR CLEAN CLEAN WATERS''' 

(This Thanksgiving: Protect Sacred Spaces)

LAND FREE FROM FRACKING &MINING SCARS

Land that was in custody of all Indigenous

Who never bought nor sold(just loved their Earth mother

in a relationship bound by song and dance and chant..

We do not own these Springs-we,too,are custodians-

so that we leave this Earth better than when we came..

So that no hair of sweet Native grass is disturbed

Nor any tree cranium cerebellum is chopped down

May the Original Spirit of Turtle Island survive and thrive

May Earth revive,to feed,nurture,shelter and protect

All creatures of two and four legs,winged and singing ones

May this be now,and forever more..Giving thanks for clear clean waters
