Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Old cemeteries with babies buried

because of inadequate medical hygiene

Now we have steroids and stem cells

Legionnaire's Disease &AIDS

I LOVE THE MODERN WHIRL

Now penicillin fails against superbugs

 Zika carried  by mosquitoes

may halt Brazil Olympics

if  pollution/sewage does not wipe out athletes

Now our very bodies are full of plastic nano-particles

Small world and getting smaller

Viruses know no borders

Epidemics mutate to pandemics

Where be rainforest cures

if there be no more rainforests?
