THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

Rob Ayling writes:

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" (The wondrous poetpic is by Jack McCabe, who I hope forgives me for scribbling all over it with Photoshop)

MULTI-DIMENSIONAL PLANES

WE THINK IN LINES  YET MOVE IN CURVES
(No straight lines in nature-nor on our only bodies-we
bend and curve and have irregular shapes
just like water finds and flows its singular way
through concrete canyons and earthbound cliffs
Yet is stopped and stilled in dams /where it gets flat and fat
Slim thin waterfalls animate rock splashes
Movement is the dance of space and time
We are on a rock in space moving faster than our minds
Zen is example of the way things are -as distinct from the way we choose to see them
We are multi-media movies(holograms)-not 2D photography
We are in process.All on a journey...Animated Yin-Yang symbol·

If you wanted to somehow illustrate the complex vorticular dynamics of the dual Torus structure that defines black holes on all scales all in one simple 2-dimensional symbol, you might draw something similar to the ancient Chinese Yin and Yang symbol.
This animation, which was created by animators directed by Nassim Haramein for his "Black Whole" DVD, shows how the dual torus and the Yin Yang are describing the very same dynamics through animated graphics.
The "Black Whole" DVD and the "Crossing the Event Horizon" 4 DVD set are both available from the The Resonance Project Foundation:

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
