TERRITORIALITY ENCROACHES

To break/divide down/immune
systems
Since documentation,we have named some
conditions-
shell shock or concussion it was called in
The "Great"War
Those quivering were called cowards /and
were punished
Modern war is endless,total and
anonymous.
Surgery stitches limbs but not
psyches
Tore within,we call it PTSD/extend to rape
victims,assault victims
sufferers of domestic violence.It took
decades
to recognize the effects of Agent
Orange/Depleted Uranium ammunition
upon the troops who dispersed defoliants
,white phosphorus,napalm on others.
Broken warriors question their own
loyalties/seek healing from the war within
which is ongoing,internal and deeply,deeply
personal.
