Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?

Julian to Augustan-to mark our
Emperors
Seasons define us-Saturnalia for
Feasting-and Wassail!
Autumn for reflection and Harvest
Winter for the storage of
grains.
We like to mark all points of common
celebration
Yet ,somewhere,other Empires asserted
new Ceremonies
Remembrance Day,Memorial Day,Armistice
Day
11/11 and now 9/11.They will be
forgotten
when this Empire is no longer
Roman
When the Seasons of Abundance and
Celebration arise like wheat
And remind us of Fertility and this
only Earth.
We are more than graveyards.We are
Gardens.
We are more than stones.We are grains
and seeds .
