PRODUCTION
Beetles outnumber human beings on this
Earth
If we were winged once/is this why we
attempt to fly?
Or is it beetle envy?That they may lift
off their weight
and take themselves through gardens and
through heights
to delight the future diet of our
common life.Chinese eat crickets.
Protein on the wing.We sing the praises
of those fields of wild life.
Call them "plagues"when beetles eat our
crops.STOP long enough to know
that sound-HEAR?the sound of wings on
heat.Beetles!Winging in!
No need to eat the chicken nor the
beef.Insects will soon supply us
with all that protein that we think we
need..
