"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

Not just starred in them-Produced,Directed,Wrote
and brought them into life.This has largely been forgotten.
Most high-budget films are Special FX IMAX Spectacles,
with computer adept boy/men creating hero scenarios for other boy/men.
"Women's Films"are seen as weepies/emotional soap operas solely about relationships.
Alice Blache made 600 short films,and was their prime mover .
Esther Eng made Chinese-language films.Millicent Patrick worked for Disney.
All these achievements have been forgotten,like their combustible silver nitrate films
Only now film scholarship reveals how comprehensive women's talents were.
Lina Wertmuller gains awards now she is in her 80s.More are forgotten.
Perhaps film herstories might discover and uncover
more of the true pioneers of our filmic stories.More than documentaries,please...
