SPEAK?OR BE SILENT?
Stay in line?or drop out?
Crossroads at midnight-
but who buys souls these days?
Even Soul Music is so passe..
To sing is intrinsically rewarding
To drink from and to and for inspiration
To function connecting to Exemplars
To lead and to follow where the data flows
So the faith healer and the fakirs follow
Science and the healing arts where they concur
Myth ,fairie tale, story sharing seem intrinsically valid
Respect for the talking stick and the talking book
The Book of Silence,mime and Monk
All end up under earth's brown blanket
Helping green harvests grow
From blood and bone.
