Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

This was just before those Washington murders

The April Good Friday cheerful and warm

All the banners were homemade, all our hopes were too-

to close down Fayetteville Power Plant

and to use energies that renew..Well,we were few,

but we shared and talked and handed out leaflets to Capitol tourists.

They took photographs,too,and the group photograph might score some views..

but the joy of being together ,with those of like mind

meant we could envision a future of power and justice and truth
