NIGHT CREATURES
We are star children/moon people
We LIKE to be out at night
when the stars shine bright
and the moon is a fickle scimitar
(or round as a Buddha-
When you say"morning"-poet time'
is Midnight to Dawning,so creation
takes place when the world is sleeping
Our dreaming is public,conceived privately
We wake,and take another day under advisement
Dreams are our language,and we speak as well as listen
to all that moves us every evening
So-YES to the walk by starlight and moon glow
YES!-to the bicycle ride .May we know
what each moment holds,by perambulating
around the imperfectly possible..
