I SAW MY HEART INSIDE A COMPUTER
Was it an EKG? No matter-I saw the beating of my drum
Source of my pulse-that channeled organ pumping blood
even when i sleep through most of it. In this, i love the science,
whereby calibrations of flow and beat and rhythm make more magic than music.
I wondered at the simplicity of this original beatbox-pump pump pumping
