Yes Could Have Had Davison Sooner.. If He’d Left The Right Message

yes
Made it at last: Davison with Yes
Yes drummer Alan White has revealed the band could have tied up with Jon Davison sooner than they did – if the vocalist had only left his phone number.
The band hired Benoit David in 2008 after deciding to move on without original frontman Jon Anderson, then replaced him with Glass Hammer‘s Davison in 2012. Yes are currently working on a new album while continuing their three-album tour of North America.
White tells Jam: “Benoit’s voice wasn’t making it through the tour and things like that, and we thought, ‘Well, we’ve got to do something anyway,’ so Jon came out of the woodwork.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
