THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" YOUR HOUSE BURNS DOWN

taking your art,sculpture,musical instruments

You are @ground zero except for one fact-

for over thirty years you have encouraged others

They organize on your behalf-and the town turns up

Poets,musicians,artists,actors,activists-all add

their talents to your life rebuilding.You have always recycled-

now you begin with only the love of friends-

it is a solid foundation to build upon.

All homes are built upon love

Every tribe needs purpose

Today you are their expression-

in poem,song,altruism/they add to your life lines

and you will live a long time,Eduardo

The love you gave and built upon has flowered and bloomed

and in the light of your being/others are braver now-to love and give more
