THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" CLOSED SYSTEMS,CLOSING

Space was once.Prairies.Clean air.Plenty.

Fences.Roads.Rail.Space race.Real estate

Only a millionaire can afford to go into space

Only the poor remain between appointments,spaced

Once expanding Universe,BIG Bang,Military Budgets

Now cutbacks,mini-invasions,joint task forces

Once you could walk as far as you wanted

Now-Borders,Guns,Visa,Drones,Passports

Cannot go back in time.It has moved on/moved along

Alone,Grand Father Clock as obsolete as a sundial/Swiss wristwatch

watches Apple iwatches,digital wristbands for fashionology

We exist in parallel dimensions-one waiting for a slow bus,another in gridlock.

None of us have time enough.Nor space,which waits/until we have money,energy and time..

INVEST NOW AND AVOID THE RUSH!
