THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem


Rob Ayling writes: 

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" BONES FROM THE HOUSE OF POETRY
BETWEEN
Potential &Kinetic/Singing&Speech/Tolled Bells Hover
There is a pulse (Within)/that sings (even in silence)
Between potential and kinetic/movement &stillness..

MY EYES HAVE SEEN (white sheets on lines
Stretched ,pegged(interrogatory).Now,bent with wet
Only on a dry day/would sun's Light/get fresh answers..

ROAD DOES NOT GO EVER ON(Nor Toll.Nor Free.Not even(not now..
This Rest Stop is (k)not.Plop!Long road trains stop.Stretch like a yawn/until pills/Coffeed Up!/Cups..
The End is never near(until it is..

NOW WE TALK ABOUT DANCE(but do not dance
Hearts get harder when they stop.Motion is only between stillness
"Getting There"only on the way.When you stop,you get deep enough-to dive deeper.

ANOTHER SONG COMES BACK(to say it was "yesterday"
Tomorrow has another tune.Perhaps Sun,.Perhaps Moon.
Dog Days.Cat Nights.Mice moments=Co-existence in time/spaced/continua..
