"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

BEFORE, AFTER AND DURING

THERE WILL BE CHANGES DEFYING COMPREHENSION

Foods that poison,water that burns

Fracking earthquakes,MONSANTO crops

Butterfly extinction,rainforest destruction

All of these happening while we breathe

at various rates of annihilation.We Are,Hear!

Both birdsong at dawn and road kill vulture food

Paradise and polluters.Peace and endless wars.

Oxymorons.Litotes.Paradoxes.Perfectly imperfect

We are part of the rubric/fabric/tapestry/flying carpet /fantasies

We are snowflakes,raindrops,drought,death

We are tree,wave,waterhole,sink hole

We are what we choose to see and to embrace

The news is made of digital perceptions

What we can do is invite human perceptions as reception

Before,during&after
