Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Everywhere i go,you are there!

Were i to try polyphonic singing,

you would remind me (of the perfectly obvious)

that one's voice is an instrument of harmony

(not necessarily abuse).And when i approach music

with no instrument in hand,again,o failure!

you point to so many talented,hard-working virtuosos

barely ekeing a thin living from their strings.

Failure-you are EVERYTHING to me!

Without you,i would embrace the thin veneer fame

the solid foundation achievement,the pride of egoic echos.
