CONSISTENT ALL HIS LIFE
He has been for equality,peace and human rights
He has bravely stood up in this fight
Peacefully demonstrated,violently treated
Persisting in his peaceful means.
Twice he ran for President
Twice he fell upon his sword
for less qualified candidates,for sure
what he really wanted was to ensure
that progressive policies might be employed
for his children and grandchildren's lives
In these days,when to be alive /is our beginning ambition
He continues to remonstrate for our education
in the ways of populist manifestation
Vermont is better for having him
Mensch of a good example then
