HESITANT,UNSURE IN THIS ELECTORAL WAR
Love wants to say 'OPEN THE CAGES"
So families might no longer be separated
Love wants no guns,nor drums,nor uniforms
Love rejects the arguments for armies,and police
And listens to Librarians and other lovers.
Love learns rather than teaches.(Example is everything)
Love misses Ruth Bader Ginsburg(but wants her work continued)
Love remembers with respect and reverence those gone from us
But can only really play with the living.The rest is candles,altars ,tears and incense
Right now,love is working for change in this election(in ALL elections-
to make sure that love is still on the ballot -and that hate is missing.
Love can only grow-in trust-and work-and wisdom.
