They do not believe the affirmations of Taliban.Their body of experience is pain.
Ask the women of Saudi Arabia-whipped for other people's adulteries.
Ask journalists beheaded for truth speaking.Imprisoned whistleblowers.
Those empowered by belief can cause Elmer Gantry harm.Pedophile preachers/politicians.
Yet we believe in them-same with police murders"a few bad apples"when all are gun toters.
WANTING to believe results in projection-upon rock stars and basketball heroes /abusers.
KNOWING Presidents rape (and get away with it)does not disturb faith in Presidents
BELIEVING in flat earth does not make Gaia flat.Vaccine hesitancy does not impinge upon vaccine efficacies.
BUT you are what you choose to believe-making mock-science a fallacy,like reversed conspiracy theories.
Toxins like Sarin,chemical warfare,DDT dumps in California,SUPERFUND sites show the harm of uncontrolled science.
And denial,doubt,withdrawal from debate reveals the limits of fake belief.Which crossroads will you take?
