It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! 2 Billionaires,2000 millionaires,2000 homeless

Health being the #2 front line issue

#1 being life itself.Home to TESLA,AMD

and Conferences of the Birds under every overpass.

the gaps between highrise wealthy and underpass poor

grow wider every day..People move away-

Kyle,Buda,Round Rock,Dripping Springs,Georgetown-

but house prices rise like taxes

Trapped in Austin Syndrome,they shelter in place

waiting for those Variants to change,and the flu to go away..

Angst produces poetry-mostly Memorials..Better to be poor and alive

than rich and distant.As folk ascend,it is wise for the healthy to remember

what made Barton Springs a source of health and liquid happiness

It is not these alien high rise towers define us,nor the future slums

of condos/duplexes rising.Waters of good health need to be conserved .

Trees and waters were here before us.They need to survive us ,as well...
