ALL MY CATS ARE FERAL
THEY ONLY STAY FOR FOOD(&AFFECTION)
My latest and last cat was the very last cat at the Refuge
No one wanted TOOTS-she snarled and snapped and hissed and bit
anyone who dared to come close..So we said -"THAT'S OUR CAT!"
To survive in this Modern World ,all cats need be indoor/outdoor
They need to be able to survive eating grass and drinking rainwater
In times,when we are away,we leave a mountain of food(which she ignores)
Return,find her curled up on computer desk,cat content when stroked
You may have seen her on ZOOM rooms-she often flaunts her tail
when leaping away from tendentious poetics.She listens intently-
comes close to the screen when Native American flutes are playing,
walks away when words lack magic or Muse.They say the size of a cat's brain is a pea..
But a cat is whole body attentive from tip of ears to tap of tail.TOOTS is alive,alert-
a lesson for us-that we are not her "owners "as such-just her students in CAT WORLD..
