It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! AS NEWS ILLUMINATES &OBFUSCATES SIMULTANEOUSLY

Turn away from the TV-but that computer screen screams

Smartphone buzzes with spam messages.Wars and floods.

Poverty.Homelessness.Quick framed so as to preclude emotional response.

Headlines and a novelty item.I prefer conversation-even gossip soothes

more than screeching alarmist conspiracy theorists.Underneath the casualty lists

there are human beings still wanting to connect.We need to talk.We need to listen.

Varieties of experiences await our expeditions.Focus.Attention.The speed of speech

'different to the voice of ears.Hands hold,Arms enfold.To be together means more than distance.

I am slow,but this fast world adjusts me to a waving frequency.Like a radio left ON,

i dream i am an ocean,rolling and rocking against waves that splash and crash upon bright sands

Then i awake,only to be dreaming again..
