Michael Des Barres has turned to police for help in tracking down an overzealous fan who has allegedly been bombarding the Macgyver star with death threats.
The rocker and actor, who played the villain Murdoc on the iconic 1980s action adventure series, began receiving the messages from a fellow Facebook.com user last November (13), and sent her "short positive responses wishing her well" after the fan claimed to be sick.
However, the notes eventually became menacing, prompting Des Barres to block the devotee, only for her to set up new accounts under different names to continue the alleged verbal abuse.
