What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.

Karnataka - one more uk show

The Secrets of Angels Tour 2015 is sadly drawing to a close but you have one last chance to see the band live this Spring with a final tour date at one of London's premier venues, Islington Academy Hall, onSaturday May 9th. A stunning venue in the heart of London. Tickets available here.

Haven't seen the band on this tour yet? Check out these great reviews @ Echoes And Dust &Trebuchet magazine
The band will of course be playing tracks from the new album Secrets of Angels which has been receiving rave reviews!

"Hands down, the band's finest hour." Echoes and Dust
"Secrets of Angels is a work of art. This album is incredible." Rock Report
"Secrets of Angels is a masterpiece and a triumph. " Progradar
Check out these and many more on the band website.

Special guest for the show will be the very talented singer/songwriter Hollie Stephenson.

Hollie will be performing an acoustic set of her own material. Hollie has recently finished recording her debut album which was produced by Dave Stewart of Eurythmics fame. The album is set for release later this year. Further details on her Pledge Music site.
Hollie releases her new single ‘Pointless Rebellion’ on 9 June.
“Hollie is one of those young rare artists that come along and already sound like they have really lived. … Hollie was still 15 years old when I decided to work with her as producer and manage her career. I flew her to the USA to make her first recordings and since then we have worked solidly recording and filming a live show in London and then moved location to record some of her album in Port Antonio, Jamaica (where she was filmed as part of an amazing documentary about Reggae Music singing two of the songs in the documentary). Hollie’s songs without doubt are going to be stuck in your head for a long time as the world gets to know her and the radio waves become filled with the sound of this amazing new talented singer/songwriter.” Dave Stewart (Eurythmics)
