THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. 

It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?" 

 TRAVELING WITH FRIENDS
WHEN THOSE FRIENDS ARE BOOKS
and you become a traveling Library
portable as pleasure,between the covers
you carry a plethora of panaceas
Folk might also like your crystals and rock jewelry
as well as the human conversation you share
across a Continent that is beginning to read again.
No Kindle,e book,i book ,nor text /Tweet
Just hard and soft covered books so sweet
one's eyes are pleased to see and feel
this real display of shared heritage.No Museum this!
More a bliss of living works shared as @OCCUPY
Donations encouraged but never pressured
By freedom,all conundrums will be resolved
