Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

SPIRITUAL RENEWAL

WE now carry radioactive genes-

the knowledge of ongoing Fukushima leaks

and unstoppable nuclear power industries

We say sea and sun and sails and even steam

but antique coal says MINE!DREDGE!OWN!PROFIT!CONTROL!

and disruptive industries have no inventory and are temporary as credit cards

EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED!To walk is to jog,to skateboard,to cycle,to hoverboard

To drive is now autonomous (controlled as drones)

Work is for a few-the rest manipulate data.This should not diminish us-

but ennui is residual existentialism,and we need to have value.

So we re-invent philosophy as advertising,and conversation as TED talks

Text ,Instagrams ,Blackberries become the lingua franca of Presidents

Scandals are now both sexual and virtual-as information comes via INFOWARS,

Wikileaks and Wikipedia.Our martyrs are banned and imprisoned-Chelsea Manning,Julian Assange,Edward Snowden

Our Bicoins are virtual ,but can be bought in a dispenser.

Our Headlines and Heroes are Faux,Fox and Celebrities/Models over Role Models

There are no values-just ratings.Everything Happens.There is no Reason.NOW READ ON...

but there are no books in the Library of the Future,and all our Data Banks are Clones.
