Rob Ayling, yer Gonzo Grande Fromage, writes:

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

it is true the New Year is not so new-
Weimer Republic cultural optimisms vs incoming Vandals&Visigoths
We form circles like the ripples of a pond-all small, but measurable(like Standing Rock)
Aware of Flint,Michigan, the Water Protectors  assist in the provisions of clean waters
Big Bend, too, pipeline threatened, has folk coming to the rescue.Always Nature and the Natural
seems to be perceived as some enemy/while to us she is all we are and know.Compassion
in the crying caves, and gathering clothes for refugees.Organizing for Health care for Seniors ,Homeless
and those Dispossessed by Wars  and Violence. These times precipitate a certain clarity.
We need act  upon pour best beliefs,or certain privileges may be forever lost.
Already-earthquakes in Oklahoma due to fracking/are getting closer.
Already, oil and gas ally against our need for clear ,clean water
And fossil fuels know they are dinosaurs, yet demand tolls and taxes.
Solution and panaceas exist. They need all of all of us.

Welcome to 2017.Prepare for The Grande Dance!

What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
